Next.js and React websites that load fast and are easy to crawl

We build websites and web apps in Next.js and React for businesses that need to be found in search and want their own staff editing the content. Pages render on the server with structured data, and the main templates are checked in Lighthouse on mobile and desktop before launch. You end up with a fast site your team edits in Sanity or WordPress, able to take orders or bookings if the business needs it, with the code in your own repository.

Deliverables

What you get

  • 01

    Server-rendered pages

Every public page arrives as complete HTML, so search engines and AI crawlers can read the content without running JavaScript.

  • 02

    SEO in the templates

Titles, descriptions, canonical URLs, hreflang for multilingual sites, sitemaps and JSON-LD structured data generated from the content, instead of typed by hand on each page.

  • 03

A CMS your team can edit

Sanity or WordPress as the content source, with content types shaped around your pages, so editors fill in fields instead of arranging blocks in a page builder.

  • 04

    E-commerce and booking

Product catalogs, carts and checkout, or appointment and reservation booking, connected to the payment and calendar tools you use.

  • 05

    Lighthouse results at launch

Mobile and desktop Lighthouse results for the main templates, with low scores fixed before the site goes live.

  • 06

    Hosting and handover

Deployment to AWS, DigitalOcean or a host you prefer, the code in your GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket account, and notes on how to release changes.

How it runs

The steps, in order

  1. 1

    Plan pages and URLs

We map the pages, the content types behind them and the URL structure, including redirects from your current site so old links keep working.

  2. 2

    Design

Page designs for mobile and desktop, reviewed with you before development.

  3. 3

    Build and connect

We build the templates, connect the CMS and any shop or booking system, and load the content.

  4. 4

    Check and launch

Lighthouse on mobile and desktop, structured data validation and a crawl for broken links and redirects, then launch and a follow-up look at Google Search Console for crawl errors.

Pickup reminders and vaccine booking in the customer's language

Filled prescriptions wait on the pickup shelf for days while technicians call customers one at a time. In flu season, vaccine bookings come by phone and walk-in, and many customers would rather speak Cantonese or Mandarin.

  • Send pickup and refill reminders from the pharmacy system's ready list, without drug names, in each customer's preferred language.
  • Turn refill replies into requests in the pharmacist's queue.
  • Take vaccine bookings through a web page and chat, using screening questions the pharmacists wrote.
  • Route every question about a medication, dose or symptom to a pharmacist.

FAQ

Web development: common questions

Why Next.js instead of a website builder?

A builder is quick to start, but you are limited to its templates and it often ships more script than the page needs. Next.js renders pages on the server, gives full control over the markup and structured data, and grows from a brochure site into a web app. If a builder covers what you need, we will say so.

Can we keep WordPress?

Yes. WordPress can stay as the place your editors work while Next.js renders the public site, so nobody has to learn a new editing screen. If a headless setup is more than the site needs, a well-built WordPress theme can be the better choice.

What drives the cost of a website?

The number of distinct page templates, the content types in the CMS, integrations such as payments, booking or a CRM, the number of languages, and how much content has to move from the old site. A large site built from a few templates can cost less than a small one with many unique layouts.

Will we lose search rankings when we switch to a new site?

Sites lose traffic in a redesign when URLs change without redirects or content disappears. We map every existing URL to its new address, carry the metadata over, and check Search Console after launch for crawl errors. That protects what you have, though nobody can promise rankings will not move.

How fast will the site be?

Speed depends on page weight, images, third-party scripts and hosting. We measure the main templates in Lighthouse on mobile and desktop before launch and fix what slows them down. Tags added after launch, such as chat widgets and ad trackers, are a frequent reason a fast site gets slower later.
