AI agents and local search for restaurants

We build an agent that answers reservation and catering inquiries from your website, email and Instagram while the kitchen is busy, and drafts replies to your Google reviews for you to approve. A content pipeline turns your kitchen's photos into Xiaohongshu and Instagram posts, and your menu becomes text that search engines and AI assistants can read when someone asks for the best dim sum near them.

The problem

Where time and leads slip away today

  • 01

    Catering requests arrive during service

An office manager emails about a lunch order for Friday while the dinner rush is on. The reply goes out the next day, after they have ordered from somewhere else.

  • 02

Reviews answered in batches, or never

Replies get written on a slow Monday, weeks after the visit, and they all read the same. A specific complaint about a cold dish deserves a specific answer.

  • 03

A menu that is a photo

Search engines and AI assistants cannot read dish names in a photo of a paper menu. When someone asks for the best hand-pulled noodles near them, the answer goes to restaurants whose menus and hours are readable text.

  • 04

    Posting happens after closing

The owner writes a Xiaohongshu post at midnight, then rewrites it for Instagram. When the week is busy, nothing goes up.

The solution

What we build for you

  • Reservation and catering agent

Answers from your menu, hours and room sizes, takes party size, date and dietary needs, and checks availability in your reservation system. For catering it collects headcount, delivery time and address and drafts a quote from your catering menu. Deposits, custom prices and anything off the menu wait for the manager.

  • Review replies you approve

Drafts a reply to each Google review in your voice, specific to what the guest wrote, and posts it once you approve. Reviews that mention illness or food safety go straight to the manager instead of getting a drafted reply.

  • Dish posts for Xiaohongshu and Instagram

Send a few kitchen photos and a line about the dish. The pipeline writes a Chinese post for Xiaohongshu and an English one for Instagram, checks each against the platform's rules and restricted words, and once you approve, publishes the Instagram post and leaves the Xiaohongshu one ready for you to publish. The report shows which posts brought in bookings.

  • Menus and listings that local search can read

Your menu goes on the website as text with Restaurant and Menu structured data, and your Google Business Profile carries current hours, photos and dishes. Short answer pages cover what guests ask first: parking, private rooms, vegetarian options, whether you take reservations.

Office and party catering requests come by email and the website form, often during the dinner rush, and wait until the next day. The owner writes Xiaohongshu and Instagram posts after closing, so weeks go by without one.

  • Answer catering questions from the catering menu, minimum order and delivery area, and collect headcount, dietary needs and delivery time.
  • Draft a quote from the catering menu for the manager to approve before it reaches the customer.
  • Turn kitchen photos and a line from the chef into Xiaohongshu and Instagram drafts, checked against each platform's restricted words.
  • Publish the Instagram posts once the owner approves them, leave the Xiaohongshu ones ready for the owner to publish, and report which posts led to catering inquiries.

FAQ

Restaurants: common questions

Does it work with our reservation system and POS?

If your reservation platform or POS offers an API, the agent checks availability and writes bookings through it. If not, it can work from a shared calendar or send each request to the host stand to confirm. We check what yours supports before we start.

Will it offer discounts to unhappy reviewers?

No. It drafts a reply, and any refund, discount or free meal is your decision. Nothing that costs money goes out without your approval.

What does it say about allergies?

It answers only from the allergen information you give it, and it tells guests to confirm with staff when they arrive. If an ingredient is not listed, it says so and does not guess.

Can it write posts in Chinese for Xiaohongshu?

Yes. Xiaohongshu posts are written in Chinese for that platform, not translated from the Instagram caption, and you approve every one before it goes up.

Can it reply to reviews on every site?

Google reviews can be posted after your approval. For sites that do not allow replies through an API, the agent drafts the reply and someone on your team pastes it in.
