AI agents for tile, stone and building materials suppliers

We build a product and quote agent that answers spec questions from your manufacturers' sheets, checks stock and lead times in your inventory system and turns a contractor's list into a draft quote for your sales desk to approve. Product pages built from the same data help you show up when someone searches or asks an AI assistant for a tile supplier in Markham.

The problem

Where time and leads slip away today

  • 01

Quote requests arrive as photos and texts

A contractor emails a photo of a handwritten list from the job site. Someone at the counter retypes it line by line into the quoting system before anyone can price it.

  • 02

Stock questions mean a walk to the yard

Is the large-format matte porcelain in stock, and are there enough boxes from the same shade lot? The answer takes a search in the inventory system or a trip to the warehouse.

  • 03

    Spec sheets buried in PDFs

Slip rating for a shower floor, frost resistance for a porch, thickness for a heated floor. The answers sit in manufacturer PDFs that a sales rep has to find while the customer waits.

  • 04

    Delivery details lost between calls

Site contact, access, whether the truck needs a boom, the time window. Details change over the phone, and the driver arrives with the old ones.

The solution

What we build for you

  • Spec-sheet and product agent

Answers product questions from your catalogue and the manufacturers' spec sheets, and names the sheet each answer came from. When a sheet does not cover the question, it says so and passes it to a sales rep.

  • Stock and lead-time lookups

Reads quantities, shade lots and locations from your ERP or POS, and special-order lead times from the supplier data you keep. If your product data is spread across spreadsheets, we clean it into one source first.

  • Draft quotes from contractor lists

Reads emailed lists, web forms and photos of handwritten takeoffs, matches each line to a product code and builds a draft quote at the contractor's pricing tier. A sales rep approves it before it is sent.

  • Delivery scheduling

Books a delivery window on the dispatch calendar, collects the site contact, access notes and equipment needed, and sends the customer a reminder and a day-of update. The dispatcher confirms every booking.

  • Product pages and local search

Product pages built from your spec data with Product structured data, a current Google Business Profile for the showroom, and answer-first pages for questions like which tile works on a heated floor. Photos of finished installs become Instagram and Xiaohongshu posts you approve.

Contractors email lists and photos of handwritten takeoffs, such as 80 boxes of 600×1200 matte porcelain with matching bullnose, and someone retypes each line into the quoting system. Questions about box counts and shade lots mean a search in the inventory system or a walk to the warehouse.

  • Read quote requests from email and the website form, including photos of handwritten lists, and match each line to a product code.
  • Check stock, shade lot and lead time for each line in the inventory system.
  • Build a draft quote at the contractor's pricing tier for a sales rep to approve before it is sent.
  • Answer spec questions such as slip rating and frost resistance from the manufacturer's sheet, naming the sheet.

FAQ

Building materials: common questions

Will it work with our inventory system?

If your ERP or POS has an API or a scheduled export, the agent reads stock, lots and prices from it. Older systems sometimes only print reports, and then we work from an export and say plainly how current it is.

Can it quote prices to contractors?

It drafts quotes at the pricing tier recorded for that account, and a sales rep approves each one before it goes out. It does not offer discounts or change terms.

What if the stock count in the system is wrong?

The agent reports what your system shows, so if counts drift from the yard, it repeats the drift. For items where that matters, it gives the customer the system count, says a staff member will confirm, and flags it to the counter.

Can it read our manufacturers' spec sheets?

Yes, including PDFs with tables. Scanned sheets vary in quality, so we test the agent on a sample of yours and fix or replace the ones it misreads before launch.

Can staff step into a conversation?

Yes. Quotes, spec questions and delivery bookings all sit where your team can see them, and anyone at the counter can reply. The agent stops on that thread once they do.
